    • Our course is taught from a place of love for our students and community

    • We are teaching Dutch with a lot of humour, culture, and conversation

    • Whilst we are fun, we also create a strict learning environment with no laptops, lots of interaction, and focus on self study

    • Covers all A1 grammar as well as a list of 500 most common dutch words.

    • This is less than usual A1 word count, however we make sure our students actually learn them.

    • We supplement the lessons with different types of daily homework.
      (30 - 60 mins per day)

    • Each class is roughly divided into 4 parts: culture, vocab/grammar, pop quiz, & interactive exercises

    • Instead of a final exam we have a competition to determine who spreek de best Nederlands

    • Along with this we have a graduation ceremony and closing party (GRAND FINALE)

    • Our classes are all in-person and taught in Amsterdam at Kropaarstraat 12

    • Upon completion of course, each student receives an official ‘Slim Dutch - Course Completion’ certificate

    • In order to receive this certificate students must attend a minimum of 7/9 classes and complete all assignments.

    • Do you work for a large company? You may be able to get the cost covered with your education budget

  • We focus on confidence speaking.

    We normally say that if you are confident having a basic chat in Dutch (1 - 2 min) then you are ready for our A2 course. If you can have longer chats (2 - 5 min) then you are ready for B1. If you are confident with many different types of conversation, then we recommend B2.
